This year we’re making the holidays personal by helping our friends at The Design Gallery Salon spread the word on an important donation drive supporting the Women & Children’s Shelter of The Salvation Army of Wake County.
“While Christmas is a time of celebration, we can’t forget the many families in Wake County who don’t even have basic care items, such as shampoo, soap or toothpaste,” said Lauren Khavari, co-owner of The Design Gallery Salon.
Be a cheerful elf and drop off basic care items at the salon. They’re our neighbors downtown in Raleigh’s City Market and we enjoy partnering with them on philanthropy projects like this. Also, be sure to check out the News & Observer mention in the Style column.
