Client News N.C. Chinese Lantern Festival Makes $8 Million Economic Impact

This year, the N.C. Chinese Lantern Festival welcomed more than 216,000 visitors to Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, N.C. Our client Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc. is renowned for creating entertaining lantern and light festivals in U.S. cities and around the world.

“Despite closing earlier than planned, the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival still managed to break its own attendance record set the previous year,” said Harold Weinbrecht, Mayor of Cary.

The festival generated more than $8 million in direct economic impact, according to figures released by the Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau.
